You guys need to get this released on the DS.. I don’t know if it has sufficient horsepower, but if it does it would be a brilliant game for the system!

As a fan of Tower Toppler and 2d/3d hybrids that work well, I am very interested in this game.

Looks smooth, plays fast, and looks “cute” enough for being a platformer.

XBox 360 – Can this run on a Crysis PC?

This looks really cool. The only concern I have is whether or not the creator of Cave Story (doukutsu) was involved in this at all. If he wasn’t, I really think this is plagiarism considering it looks EXACTLY like his style.

Fantastic concept, and looks like you’ve pulled it off flawlessly as well. Brilliant work guys! Cant wait for a beta/demo.

You really need a “fill my email with interesting FEZ related information” subscription mailing list, or if one exists, a more obvious one…

So, the real question that needs to be answered is, how can we play what looks to be the best game in the history of mankind?
What system can we play it on?

The game-idea is great – I’m really looking forward to play it! Also the 2D part’s graphic is great – just the 3D-look isnt very appealing, even its the same as the 2D ones. Maybe it somehow looks too repetitive .. not sure

As for the technology, I’m wondering why its necessary to write a complicate voxel engine to render a couple of cubes – these could already be rendered faster by the earliest 3D accelerators in polygons..

Amazing looking game and congrats! I hope you bring this to PC, as I think STEAM be an awesome choice along with an XBLA release. From what I hear, royalties on STEAM are far better.

    Good luck!

I just saw that the engine doesnt use Voxel-raycasting as I thought.

Using iso-surfaces is a good idea to keep the development simple – but its difficult to render hi-resolution volumes without LOD..
Now I understand why the game looks a little blocky in 3D; its to keep the frame-rate up.

Who is doing the music? Reminds me a lot of Tree Wave (their song “Sleep” to be specific).

Awesome, brilliant work, guys. This would make a kickin’ game on any platform, but I’m secretly hoping it’ll be a DS exclusive. The music is so addictive I keep hearing it in my dreams. Could you release it as a separate soundtrack? Keep building that 2D pixel love!
